BCHS is funded almost completely by donations. Your donations to Bradford County Humane Society fund everything important to the second chance success of about 700 companion animals per year. Bradford County Humane Society is happy to receive donations in any form, including pet food and supplies, financial donations and bequests, and the essentials for running a shelter or home – such as copy paper, cleaning supplies, water, toys for pets, leashes, and pet snacks – and Kitty Litter is always received with special joy!

Keep in mind that BCHS remains unique. It is the only place where you can find your lost pet through our strong community Facebook page, and it has long been the only place in Bradford County accepting strays from both individuals and State and local law enforcement. It’s a little tougher environment than the other shelters, because this is where animals are brought by law enforcement when they are quarantined, abused, or have been running at large. Despite these challenging circumstances, BCHS has maintained a No Kill status since 2012. These vulnerable companion animals, often needing serious veterinary care and special help, rely upon your financial donations and gifts for food, veterinary care and and all of the things that they need to get back to an ordinary life with a family of their own.
